Riddle of the Week

A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign and he went the wrong way on a one-way street right past a police car. The police officer did nothing. Why?

      I am so happy to hear from you, Pawan! It's great to see that you are able to access the blog from your village. Congratulations, your guess is also correct. The bus driver was walking, so none of the things he did were illegal. That's why the police officer didn't do anything!

    Mrs. Birdsall we tried to solve this riddle too. Someone in my class thought that the police officer was busy eating donuts. Some one else thought maybe the police officer was watching the Canucks on his laptop. But we see though that the bus driver was walking which is why the police officer didn't give him a ticket. He wasn't driving the bus at the time. Thanks for sharing your riddles with us. We may come and check them out again.
