Hi Ms. Birdsall, I'm a teacher at an elementary school in Richmond, B.C. and we love your visitor tips! Would it be alright with you if we used them as inspiration for our own classroom blogs? Thank you so much!

ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Birdsall,
ReplyDeleteI am a University student at the University of Regina and in our ECMP 335 (Educational Computers) we were to find a couple blogs by teachers that we like. I came across yours and I think it is great! I love how you share many interesting subjects that your class is covering because it lets the parents know what is going on at school and I am guessing it is exciting for the students to be on the blog! I also really like your comments at the top of 'Visitor Tips' page because they demonstrates brief suggestions of safety, giving parents and students an idea about Digital Citizenship! Keep up what you are doing and have a great rest of the year! :)
Thanks,
Charlayna McGill
Hi Charlayna,
DeleteThanks so much for the positive feedback! I love having a class blog. As you said I find it's a great way to share our learning with the wider world, and the kids love seeing themselves on the blog. I've just started my maternity leave, so the blog will be dormant for the next year, but I look forward to starting it up again in 2014. Best wishes for your studies.
go ms birdsall!!!!!
